Exclusive and Luxury Wedding Photography

What makes a Wedding Photographer Exclusive or Luxury?

We are often asked as to what defines a photographer to be considered as exclusive or luxury.  The definition of exclusive is a complex one when applied to a wedding photographer and has several meanings. The most obvious one relates to price, exclusive wedding photographers tend to charge a comparatively high price, in the same sense that you would pay a high price for an exclusive fashion item or piece of jewellery. In terms of price, exclusive tends to reflect the quality of service that you get and reflects the exclusivity of the wedding photographer.

This leads on to the second implication of the definition when applied to wedding photographer, the services have some degree of exclusivity. The photographer will tend not just accept commissions based on price but other objectives will form part of their consideration for accepting to work for a client, such as location and the style of images that the clients would like. This reflects the exclusive photographer’s right to actually be exclusive. The client then should ask as to what they get for their high price and accommodating the desires of their photographer. They get exclusivity, the sole attention of the photographer for the duration of their event and during the post edit. The photographer will give you their undivided attention, skill set, creative abilities and access to their experience and knowledge for the term of the contract. In effect, you are paying for the best and the best deliver everything that they have to you.

So what else do you get for your exclusivity? Probably the finest wedding albums such as Queensbury from New Zealand.  These are widely considered to be among the best wedding albums in the world. Each album is hand made from the finest materials available and bespoke to the specific client. They are designed to maximise the length of time that your images will stay in pristine condition for. As well as the finest albums, the latest technologies are used for the post edit production. More time is generally spent on editing the client’s images than actually at the wedding day. As the images here show, the level of dedication towards this craft is one of the main features of the leading luxury wedding photographers. Finally, there is the guarantee, that your images will be yours and not distributed to third parties, that you have the right to confidentiality and that these photographers know how to photograph the rich and famous, when to merge into the background and how to cope with the demands and stress of an exclusive wedding.
