2017 flew by in such a flash but it was a fabulous year for me, with so many gorgeous weddings! I photographed a total of 32 special days, and worked up and down the UK.
From barns to manor houses, outdoor ceremonies to cosy winter weddings, there’s been a little bit of everything this year. A couple of highlights were photographing at the stunning Henry Moore Foundation in Perry Green, Hertfordshire. I’ve grown up looking at Henry Moore’s modern art sculptures as my mum is an art teacher, so it was amazing to be amongst the priceless artwork for a gorgeous wedding! Also having the opportunity to photograph a wedding amongst the stunning architecture of the Bodleian Library in Oxford –
such a gorgeous venue and we were blessed with some beautiful evening light too!
Another personal highlight was winning the ‘One to Watch’ award in the Four Counties Wedding Awards, and being named a Regional Finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards East of England Best Photographer category!
Huge thanks to all my amazing couples for this year for trusting me to capture your big day and being generally lovely and fabulous to photograph! I hope you enjoy looking through my Best Of 2017 collection!
