Best of Wedding Photography 2016 – Adam Johnson Photography

Many thanks to Adam Johnson for sharing his best of 2016.

“2016 was an epic year for me and ARJ Photography, beginning with being crowned UK Wedding Photographer of the Year by The Wedding Industry Awards, and I was also proud to win a number of other awards this year from Fearless and Masters of Wedding Photography as well as finishing 4th overall worldwide in the ISPWP autumn contest. This year I have been part of 41 weddings all over England and Wales and I’ll finish the year with a trip to Northern Ireland on New Years Eve – it’s a shame I haven’t worked in Scotland this year to complete the home nations set! I’ve also travelled to a number of destination weddings this year – in Tuscany and Sicily, as well as photographing a wedding in Singapore!

It’s a crazy job being a wedding photographer, and something I never take for granted. As much as I love the travelling, what I really love about being a wedding photographer is not really knowing what the next job will bring, or what I’ll take from it on a personal level. The people I meet along the crazy journey are the true reward, especially when they’re as trusting and enthusiastic about what I do as I am. They give me the space to be the photographer I am on a weekly basis, which helps me create the sort of images I want to create and continually improve on my abilities as a wedding photographer. It’s a joy to be able to do this for a living, and I can’t wait for 2017 and many years beyond. I hope you enjoy these images – the best wedding photography of 2016″ – ARJ Photography.
