Rich and Rosie. What can I say about these guys and their simply epic Ratsbury Barn Kent Wedding?
Well it was certainly up there in the laid back wedding category! I hooked up with Rosie in the morning at the lovely Frou Frou Bridal Boutique in beautiful Tunbridge Wells, Kent, where she was getting ready. A great setting for bridal prep with bags of natural light, exposed walls and some of the best wedding dresses you’ll find hanging elegantly along the rails.
As a Kent wedding photographer it’s always great to visit new venues, and it was my first wedding at Ratsbury Barn near Tenterden in Kent. So I was treated nicely to glorious summer weather and an outdoor ceremony with deckchairs for guests. Not a bad first impression!
Rosie arrived in a very cool bright orange VW camper too hook up with Rich, and I have to say the campervan made a great backdrop to the ceremony. She walked down the aisle to Iron Maiden’s ‘Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter’. I think her father knew about it but never did find out!
Some cool tunes filled the barn for remainder of the day, and I hope this Ratsbury Barn wedding will be the first of many I get to photograph there!
